Warrior

The thrill of battle, inner peace while chaos ensues, and having a quick mind and powerful body are all important qualities to those who call themselves a warrior. The path of the Warrior is by far the oldest remaining path in Aranova and is the bulk in many armies and security forces. Those who wish to put a huge focus into the path of the Warrior must have a strong body, have a drive and desire to be in the thick of every conflict they’re in, and be ok with wielding the weapons that directly connect to the bodies of their enemies.

Available Paths

Barbarian

The Barbarian is the most primal and ferocious discipline that can be found. None are more physically aggressive, deadly, or threatening than the Barbarian. Their greatest strength, and weakness in some minds, is their reliability in their brute strength, cunning, and unpredictable combat style.

Gladiator

The Gladiators take great pride in their mastery of weapons and beasts. They are rarely seen using weapons not suited for them and gain a great deal of empowerment from their own understanding of combat. None are considered better in hand to hand combat.

Knight

The Knight is considered the most honorable and dignified of all the Warriors. Their view of honor and respect is so empowering that they unintentionally unlocked a unique combat technique mixing what they call holy might and normal martial combat.

Rogue

The code of the Rogue is broad and ever changing but some things stay the same. They must be swift in battle, silent as the dead of night, and have an understanding of all things tactical. They came to be as an attempt to deter great battles and war but quickly adapted to take hold in all aspects of the world. To be a rogue is to be hidden, certain, deadly, and tricky and must be ever willing to adapt.

Archer

The Archer excel at ranged combat and have a unique capability to empower any bow or crossbow and even gain these effects, and reduce the weaknesses of, while using mechanical weapons such as guns and mechanical bows and crossbows.

Specialist

The Specialist is the most versatile discipline found amongst the Rogues. They are lovers of music and masters of poisons and tonics to amazing and terrifying effect. They are the smallest group of Rogues found throughout Evaloth and it is rare to see more than one in a small area.

Tactitian

The Tactician is literally the best at reading any situation and making split second decisions. They are rarely caught off guard and often cause a great deal of frustration to their enemies.

Scholar

The desire to understand, the drive to create, and the will to discover no matter the cost are all aspects that can be found with those with the desire to learn and create with one's own hands. The Scholar is responsible for the many technological advances that Aranova has seen over the many years. Although the youngest of all the paths they have arguably contributed more to Aranova as a whole than any other. Those with a desire to mechanically create, learn and discover ancient and forgotten truths, or alter reality through science would thrive on the path of the Scholar.

Professor

The Professor is a curious direction for the educated to walk as their skill and power teeters on the lines between magic, technology, and knowledge as they learn to understand and master the language, lore, and technology of a long dead civilization.

Scientist

The Scientist is well known for their strength in medicines and toxins. They are often viewed with scrutiny as they play around with a myriad of concoctions. They are the rarest to be found of all the Scholars as the field is quite dangerous as what the work with is a double edged sword. Those that survive their quest for knowledge long enough are generally well respected and can cause a great deal of harm, or good, to those they have their sight on.

Technician

The Technician’s skill and mastery is second to none on the subjects of machinery and technology. They take great pride in their work and spend many an hour working on their various creations. Although they are generally not as intelligent as the others of the Scholars they are easily the most creative.

Ancient elemental power can be found everywhere in Aranova but to the untrained eye it could go unnoticed forever. Out of the few that can see or feel it the Mage is the only who dares to attempt to master these deadly forces. All who wish to take hold and attempt to command fire, water, earth, wind, nature, or lightning as well as the minor elements that fall within this realm of magic or desire to command the very heavens or gain the power of the wild must start down the path of the Mage.

Mage

Druid

The Druid is a master of nature, the stars, and the very beasts of the world as they are the only Mages capable of seeing the minute connections between the three and the necessary balance they bring to the elements and natural forces. Due to their insight they are always revered as masters over nature and are always sought for guidance as they tend to always see the smallest, often missed, details. Those who choose this path will focus on the forces of nature to mend, do destructive damage from the heavens, and transform into the very beasts they shepherd and protect.

Elementalist

The Elementalist focuses greatly on the elemental arts and sees them as the only true way to master the forces of Aranova. Those who choose this path will further master fire, water, earth, wind, and lightning. Each of these elements can be pursued in one of the Elementalists five specializations.

Shaman

The Shaman are a wise and powerful kind of practitioner that focuses on the very spirit and nature of the elements. As such they seek to better understand and befriend the elements and desire to work together to achieve their goals. Those who choose this path will utilize the ancient powers of fire, water, earth, wind, and lightning. Each of these elements will be utilized and mastered differentially in one of the Shamans four specializations

Priest

The constant pull of the forces of dark and light magic are intertwined all throughout Evaloth. All living things carry within them a soul made with spirit magic. The primordial forces of time, space, and gravity are ever constant, continually changing the world around all living things. These truths are what shape and guide all Priests. All those who have a desire to shape and command the powers that govern light, dark, spirit, time, space, or gravity must willingly walk down the path of the Priest.

Arbiter

The Arbiter are a rare and mysterious group of Priests that wield the forces of time, space, gravity, light, and dark magic. They are equal parts devastating to enemies as they are kind to allies and they are always treated with suspicion due to their ways of commanding the primordial magics. Although many dabble in all of these forms of magics, the ones the Arbiter focus on more are dependent on their chosen specializations.

Paladin

The Paladin’s primary focus when utilizing the primordial forces of the world is light and spirit magic but some have been known to also wield space magic to great effect. To which the Paladin will utilize mostly will be determined by which of their three specializations they pursue.

Zealot

The Zealot is a Priest that has generally abandoned their good will in place of a more zealous and dangerous will to dominate, control, and harm those around them. They are the more deadly of all priests and practice dark, spirit, and space magic to cause chaos and sow destruction to their enemies. One is rarely found without a cause of their own that they pursue and it would be hard pressed to find anyone not a Zealot that is more dedicated to their chosen cause. Those who choose this path will likely be found commanding demons or taking on demon transfigurations to enhance their capabilities in combat.
